DISTRICT END-OF-COURSE EXAM & DEOC REVIEW ASSIGNMENT CLOSING: District End-of-Course (DEOC) Exams for Anatomy & Physiology are available. See the "DEOC Testing Info" post in Teams. Seniors deadline to complete their DEOC Exam is Monday, May 10, 2021 (since May 11 & 12 the school will be shutdown for testing). The underclassmen deadline to complete DEOC Exams is Friday, May 28, 2021. This deadline is for make-ups. All underclassmen will be provided the DEOC Exam beginning May 10, 2021 and should have it completed by Friday, May 14, 2021. Students were provided review assignments to complete BEFORE they took the DEOC Exam. All DEOC Review Assignments will closed on May 10, 2021 at 7:00 AM (time was extended from April 29, 2021). Students with accommodations for extended time were provided their extended time without late penalty.
DEOC TESTING FOR DUVAL HOMEROOM: Duval Homeroom students will be required to have their cameras on during District End-of-Course (DEOC) Exams. If you do not have a functioning camera you can use your phone as an alternative. If you are are DH student without a functioning camera you will need to get in touch with me for options. DO NOT TAKE THE DEOC OUTSIDE OF A TESTING SESSION OR WITHOUT YOUR CAMERA ON, EVE IF IT APPEARS AVAILABLE!
SENIOR LAPTOP RETURN: Seniors that have completed their End-of-Course Exams should turn in their laptops to Ms. Bell on Monday, May 10, 2021 between 9:15 AM and 10:30 AM in room 308. If you still have EOCs then you may hold onto your computer to complete those, however you will not be able to turn your laptop in again until May 17 and May 18 at Cap and Gown Distribution. NO NOT TURN YOUR LAPTOP IN TO ANYONE ELSE INCLUDING THE MAIN OFFICE! This message is directly from Ms. Bell.
PROGRESS REPORTS: Progress reports and scholarship warnings have been provided digitally. Students and parents may check grades on Focus. Students receiving a scholarship warning have an assignment called "Scholarship Warning" posted in Focus in the "Notification" category.
ABSENCES DUE TO TESTING: All absences are marked as "unexcused absences" until proper documentation is provided. In the case of testing, the attendance from testing is submitted by the Test Proctor or Coordinator to the Attendance Clerk. There is no need to post on the Teams page or send an email informing me you were in testing. However, if you are still marked as an "unexcused absence" more than two days after you were in testing please contact me so that I can look into the matter. Students missing class due to testing are responsible for acquiring any missed notes, exit tickets, assignments, tests, etc. and completing them.
