I have provided Kahoot! Challenges to students to complete to help practice for the District End-of-Course (DEOC) Exam. These Challenges also come with the added benefit of providing recovery points toward their respective DEOC Review Assignments. See the announcement below:
To further help students I am providing you some Kahoot! Challenges to earn points back toward your Module DEOC Review assignments. The points you earn will apply back to the specific module(s) the DEOC Review covers. The Module DEOC Reviews are still capped at a maximum of 25 points (100%). This is for recovery points, not extra credit.
Each Kahoot! Challenge you may take up to 3 times. When you enter your name, enter your FIRST AND LAST NAME followed by your attempt number. For instance, for the first attempt Johnny Smith would enter “Johnny Smith 1”. For the second attempt Johnny Smith would enter “Johnny Smith 2”. The final attempt Johnny Smith would enter “Johnny Smith 3”. This will allow me to easily record your names. You are responsible for keeping up with how many attempts you have made. With the large number of students participating in the Kahoot! Challenges and the number of Kahoot! Challenges made available for each Module and each class it is very important students follow directions. If you do not follow directions then I cannot collect data (c.f. SC.912.N.1.1).
You may earn points to apply back to your DEOC Reviews as follows: 4 points for getting 32 of 52 correct (> 60%), 8 points for getting 37 of 52 correct (> 70%), and 12 points for getting 42 of 52 correct (> 80%). For best results, it is recommended that students do the Kahoot! Challenges after completing the DEOC Review for the specific module(s). Also note, if a reasonable attempt (at the teacher’s judgment) is not made on the respective DEOC Review then the Kahoot! Challenge points will not be applied.
Do not share codes or use codes from another class as they are specific for each class. Failure to follow directions WILL result in all your Kahoot! Challenge results for the specific module being VOIDED.
Remember, each Kahoot! Challenge is 52 questions, you may take them up to 3 times, use only your class’ code, and be sure to correctly enter your name as directed.
All codes will expire at 7:00 AM on Friday, April 30, 2021.
