Be sure to read through ALL of the information below. Failure to read through the information provided could negatively affect student performance and grades. Emails with questions that were explicitly addressed in this post will be responded to with "Please refer to the Weekly Announcement." If you have ANY questions not addressed in the Weekly Announcement you may email me directly at [email protected].
MODULE 13 TEST MAKE-UP: Make up for the Module 13 Test will be on Monday, March 29, 2021 only. Failure to take the Module 13 Test during this opportunity will result in a zero remaining in the grade for the remainder of the quarter. The make-up test will only be available from 7:15 AM to 11:59 PM. If the make-up test is not submitted by 11:59 PM then the system will no longer accept it. There will be NO extension of this time.
MODULE 14 TEST & CLOSING: The Module 14 Test and Closing will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. All exit tickets and assignments for Module 14 will close by 2:00 PM on the test date (Wednesday, March 31, 2021), and nothing can be submitted after that time. Students with accommodations will not be provided extended time after the closing date and time.
HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR PARENTS (AND STUDENTS): Earlier this year I posted the following article, Helpful Information for Parents, help keep parents informed of what the course is about. The article is also helpful for students, especially with the number recently added to the course. If you are a new student to the course please take the time to read the article. This will help you catch up with insights that other students have already been given or figured out over the first semester.
COMMENTING ON TEAMS PAGE: Please refrain from commenting on the Teams page. Comments pertaining to one student does not need to become information shared with the entire class. If there is something you need to inform me of you may email me at [email protected]. I have tried to leave this option open so that students may ask questions during LIVE sessions in the chat that pertain to the lesson (not to inform me why you were late, problems with mics, saying hello, etc). Comments made on assignments or posts change the order in which they are viewable by students in the Teams page. You may still use the reaction buttons as this does not disrupt the Teams page.
ABSENCES DUE TO TESTING: All absences are marked as "unexcused absences" until proper documentation is provided. In the case of testing, the attendance from testing is submitted by the Test Proctor or Coordinator to the Attendance Clerk. There is no need to post on the Teams page or send an email informing me you were in testing. However, if you are still marked as an "unexcused absence" more than two days after you were in testing please contact me so that I can look into the matter. Students missing class due to testing are responsible for acquiring any missed notes, exit tickets, assignments, tests, etc. and completing them.
