Be sure to read through ALL of the information below. Failure to read through the information provided could negatively affect student performance and grades. Emails with questions that were explicitly addressed in this post will be responded to with "Please refer to the Weekly Announcement." If you have ANY questions not addressed in the Weekly Announcement you may email me directly at [email protected].
MODULE 9 TEST & CLOSING: The Module 9 Test will be on Monday, January 24, 2022 for B-Day students and Tuesday, January 25, 2022 for A-Day students. The Module 9 Closing will also be on Monday, January 24, 2022 for B-Day students and Tuesday, January 25, 2022 for A-Day students. Any assignments not submitted by 2:00 PM on these respective days will be recorded as a zero. NO EXTENDED TIME WILL BE PROVIDED!
CLASS INTERUPTIONS: Do NOT come by the classroom during a class period you are not scheduled. If you have a question, read the Weekly Announcement and other notifications posted on Teams first! If you have a question that was not addressed, you may either email me at [email protected] or ask me during the work time of your scheduled class period. Remember, it is your responsibility to attend class, pay attention, and read the information I have provided to you.
NO 3Q OR 4Q RECOVERY TESTS: Reminder, there will not be a 3Q or 4Q Recovery Test. Students are provided recovery point opportunities as review in each Module. These options are not mandatory. Since these opportunities are not mandatory, there will be no make up provided.
HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR PARENTS (AND STUDENTS): Earlier this year I posted the following article, Helpful Information for Parents, help keep parents informed of what the course is about. The article is also helpful for students, especially with the number recently added to the course. If you are a new student to the course please take the time to read the article. This will help you catch up with insights that other students have already been given or figured out over the first semester.
BSENCE/QUARANTINE: If you are absent from class or quarantined due to COVID-19 tracing and told to work from home, you need to check the Weekly Announcement for what work will be covered in class each day. The notes will be posted in Teams under the Files tab. The assignments will appear in the Assignments section on Teams. You have access to a digital text book (Open Stax) via the link provided, on the class website (IsonBiology.com), on the course syllabus (located in the Class Material folder in the Files tab). There are also tutorials available on the class website.
