To excuse the assignment the assignment must be submitted with a passing score of a B or higher, otherwise the failing grade will be scored. Students that do not provide proper documentation for an absence will have their assignment scored the same as a late assignment. Tests not submitted by due will have a 20% late penalty applied. Tests not submitted by closing will result in a zero score. There will be no make-up provided for a student in class that does not submit the test by closing. A student who was absent from class will be provided a different version of the test. Failure to take the make-up test as scheduled will result in the zero being permanent. It is the student's responsibility to be in class, independently complete assignments and tests, and submit the tests and assignments on time.
